The downstairs service was great, but the hotel is very old and the quality is poor. There was no Wi-Fi in my first-floor room, and for the price it wasn’t a favorite. The bed was so uncomfortable, with the springs poking into my side all night. Worst bed I’ve had in Oman.

10/3 The rooms looked nothing like the photos online, which were very misleading. The staff treated guests badly, and I don’t think this hotel is worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

My stay at Guld Hotel Apartment Muscat was really bad. The room was poor and missing basic things: no kettle, coffee maker, tea bags, iron, toothbrush, or toothpaste. When I asked reception, they told me to go buy them at the supermarket with my own money. Totally unacceptable service and not worth staying here.

The staff acted very unprofessionally when someone got stuck in the lift and was having trouble breathing. They just told him to sit and wait until the power came back so he could get out. That was irresponsible. Google showed a room price of 10 OMR, but we were first quoted 13 OMR and told they wouldn’t rent it for less. In the end, they charged 12 OMR, and that was only for four hours. Misleading prices and rude behavior.

Really bad service and no facilities. The kitchen equipment barely worked, so we couldn’t even make tea. The washing machine was broken and there was no water connection. Don’t stay there.
