Dar Al Deyafa Hotel Apartment

Clean rooms with the basic amenities. The furniture works, but it's old and shows signs of damage.

I stayed in a 1bhk room for 10 days and had a very bad experience with the manager, anwar. The way he behaved, talked, and acted toward guests was really poor, and his comments felt like teasing people. I never expected this kind of experience from a manager at this hotel. I feel ashamed because of him, and would never recommend this place to anyone.

It was quiet, but the apartment building is just in a normal city area without nice views. The apartment itself has a bedroom, kitchen, living room, and washroom. The kitchen has things for cooking, but there's nothing to cook on, no stove, just a microwave, and mine didn't work. The fridge was empty too, so the kitchen wasn't much use. The LEC television is a regular cable TV, not a smart one with apps like YouTube or Netflix. Its channels were in Arabic, so I didn't get much use out of it either.

The place smelled bad, there were cockroaches all over, and the bed linen smelled of sweat, possibly because it hadn't been changed. When I asked for cleaning, they only seemed to mop part of the floor. Maintenance was very poor, and the hotel didn't seem to care about customers. Only the phillipino lady at reception was helpful. The Bangali staff had a very bad attitude toward customers. I'll never visit again, don't recommend it, and think it should be disqualified as a hotel.
