For a group travelling with children, this was a very practical place to stay for three nights. The central location made it easy to reach major attractions, malls and main roads, and it works well if you’re exploring Muscat by car. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Kids could unwind in the heated outdoor pool after sightseeing, while adults had the bar open at night to relax before bed. Breakfast had a wide range of international and local choices, even for picky eaters. Staff were consistently polite, responsive and professional. A reliable, comfortable base, especially for families or longer stays.

The heated pool became part of our daily routine, and it was great for the kids. The garden around it gave the adults a quiet, green place to relax away from city noise. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the whole hotel had a relaxed, family-friendly feel. Staff made everything easy from the moment we arrived. They were warm and attentive, and even helped arrange a small birthday surprise for one of the children. Breakfast was generous and varied, and the hotel was well organized, so our group stay went smoothly and without stress. Our stay with the children exceeded expectations. For a family visiting Muscat, it’s a solid choice with good service and a central location.

Shehan made the bar visit stand out. His cocktails were outstanding, and his friendly smile and warm personality made us feel welcome right away. He’s easily the best bartender I’ve come across. The Lazy Lizard bar had a great atmosphere, and the hotel’s service and overall vibe made it a lovely place to relax. Fantastic hospitality and a memorable bar experience at Radisson Blu Hotel. Highly recommended!

Flight delays brought my family and me here, and we’ve really enjoyed our stay. It’s been very busy because of the delays, but the staff are friendly and the manager has been amazing, checking in on us and other guests every day. I’d highly recommend staying here during a visit to Oman. And be sure to see Mohamed AL Harthi at the breakfast omelet station. His omelets are delicious!

The early check-in we’d booked got mixed up because the tour operator forgot to arrange it. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more helpful sorting it out, so many thanks to them. Our pool-view room also looked onto the hotel’s AC units, which were pretty noisy. The shops are just a few minutes away on foot. This isn’t one of Muscat’s better hotels, but it’s okay. The buffet dinner and breakfast were good, and you can sit inside or outside the restaurant. There’s a reasonably sized pool with a beach bar beside it. A reasonable hotel, with great staff and a reasonable price.
