If all you want is a bed and a hot shower, and you’re not looking to camp, you may be happy here. The reception person was nice, as were the other staff, who were very helpful, and the cook was nice too. I was surprised after seeing all the good reviews and high ratings on Booking.com, so don’t arrive with high expectations. The rooms need proper cleaning, the bedding needs to be washed better or replaced, and the sewer smell needs sorting out. In the eating area, tables should be cleaned after people finish so the next guests can sit down to a clean table. Opening the window brings in a strong smell of goats and goat droppings, which are all around because goats live very close to the hotel. Instead of calling customers to ask them to change bad comments, they should put their time, energy, and resources into fixing these problems. It isn’t nice, and it makes me wonder whether the good reviews are genuine.

The guitar-shaped, six-foot pool is a striking feature, and there’s a separate pool for kids. The hotel also has a spa and sells natural oils and lotions. It’s about 20 minutes from the main town area of Jabal Al Akhdhar, positioned just before the entrance to this mountain town. The place feels cozy, offers breakfast, and the rooms were clean, neat, and organized, with hot water facilities. The hospitality was good. It could be a budget-friendly option for people visiting this area.

You’ll need a 4x4 to reach the hotel, as a normal car can’t get there. There’s a police check point down the mountains. Once there, it’s clean and comfortable, and well placed for exploring the surrounding mountains.

The meals were a highlight for us. The Main Chef-starred restaurant served innovative, delicious food, with a varied selection across the restaurants, and breakfast each morning was delicious too. We found the rooms spacious, immaculate, and beautifully decorated, with impressive attention to detail. The elegant decor, soothing music, and welcoming atmosphere made the hotel feel relaxing and memorable. Cleanliness and hygiene were handled with great care, which gave us peace of mind throughout our visit. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with requests, and they made us feel valued. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, with an organized team making us feel welcome from the start. From arrival to departure, the staff went above and beyond for our comfort and satisfaction. A great fit if you’re after comfort, convenience, and very good service.
