The building has some age to it, but it’s kept in good shape. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the place felt peaceful and welcoming. Staff were kind and helpful during our stay. The location works well, including for families, and it’s a comfortable, affordable choice in Nizwa.

The roomy bedrooms have antique doors that give the place a regal feel. It’s right on the main road, so things are close by, especially the fort. I’d definitely stay here.

We’ve kept coming back to this guesthouse for about seven years, and the value for money and cleanliness are still reasons we enjoy it. The staff are friendly and ready to help, which makes the stay feel comfortable. Nearby, green fields and refreshing irrigation canals make for a lovely walk. We always enjoy returning.

Our booked room wasn’t available, so the staff kindly moved us at no extra cost to a family room with two bedrooms, three beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. It was far more space than we needed, but we appreciated the gesture and how accommodating they were. The hotel is quite old, though it has what a traveler needs. It’s fairly central if you have a car, and I’d stay again.

The staff were friendly, and shops and restaurants are close by. The place is a little out from the old center, about a 10-minute drive, though the nearby main street makes getting into town convenient. Rooms are simple, clean and roomy. Those at the back are fairly quiet despite the busy road nearby, and there are old houses and a Falaj behind the hotel that feel idyllic. Breakfast was poor quality, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
