The trees make the setting feel really refreshing, and you can have your own BBQ right in front of the hut. It's a distinctive theme and more affordable for families than a hotel room. Kids may find it boring, though, and the mosquitoes are the one real drawback.

There is plenty of open space, a garden theme, and a nearby park and play area made with families and small kids in mind. The staff are very helpful. In winter, it could be a nice spot for birthday parties or hosting dinner. The toilets and hand-washing area need work, though, and since COVID things have been in bad shape, with no water and poor hygiene.

The palm leaves give it a nice ambience. A good budget place to stay.

The cabins are reasonably priced for what you get, though some of the accommodation is pretty basic. The beds are hard, and the bathroom is also the shower, without a separate stall. It was nice to have a separate room from our kids, and breakfast came in a generous amount. The on-site restaurant is closed, so you have to go into Nizwa for lunch and dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It has a cottage-like feel. Some of the sheds have an open dining area with a table and room for a barbecue. A fuel station is very close by for fuel, a car wash, or a small grocery shop. The fuel stations all have basic groceries and accept card payments.
