These older-style hotels are great, whatever angry competitors might say. The rooms are spacious, airy, and have a nice view, and everything was tidy and very clean. The bedding smelled fresh, and there’s even a separate kitchen. Towels and shampoo were supplied. Hot water is limited because the boiler is small, and you may want to bring your own toilet paper if you don’t like the traditional kind.

The toilet in the apartment needs more attention. Also, the price felt too high compared with other hotels in the same area.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there’s plenty downstairs, including a hypermarket, food, a bakery, and laundry. But I found that $100 was missing from the $300 I’m sure I had in my purse after leaving it in the room. It felt comfortable, but I didn’t feel my belongings, especially cash, were safe. I believe housekeeping went through my bags looking for valuables and took the money.

The staff were so kind and made our trip special. They arranged a camping trip for us at the last minute with a fantastic guide, and when I needed a taxi they called four services until they found one for under 3 rials. The room was very good for the price. The bathroom is basic, just a simple shower and sink with the toilet in the corner, but that didn’t bother me. I’d recommend the place to anyone.

For 13 rials in the first week of December 2023, we had a clean, well-kept two-bedroom apartment with a TV, sofas, fridge, oven, washing machine, and clean towels, soap, and shampoo. The lift and lobby were maintained too. Shops, a restaurant, cafe, and bakery are just below, with plenty of parking and the highway close by. A good budget-friendly family stay.
