I was in Salalah for an emergency and needed somewhere close to where we arrive after driving from Thumrait, away from the city. The staff were very friendly and flexible, and the stay wasn’t bad. Breakfast was good in quantity. Room service didn’t happen after we hung the request on the door the first night, so the next day I had to mention it at reception. The rooms aren’t wheelchair accessible: there are stairs only, with no elevators, even from the ground floor. The furniture should be replaced with newer pieces. Salalah is tropical, and you can notice the effects of mold and humidity as soon as you arrive.

The pool had lots of loungers, and breakfast was good. We picked this large resort-style hotel for its convenience to the airport, and it was nearly empty during our visit, so they kindly upgraded us to a huge, comfortable, well-equipped room with an enormous bed, maybe what they call an Emperor bed. The evening menu looked basic, so we ate at a restaurant and can't comment on the food. Good value, and we'd happily stay again.

The suite was wonderful, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I was offered an upgrade at a great price, as other guests have mentioned. I had an excellent stay and am already looking forward to coming back.

There's plenty of parking inside, and the rooms are clean, reasonably priced, and have good facilities. Breakfast has a good range too. The only drawback for me was that it's a little far from the city center.

We were welcomed so warmly, and the service felt like more than a 3-star stay. Mr. Noor deserves a special thank you for his exceptional help, and all the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and well kept, breakfast had tasty options, and we enjoyed the complimentary sweets each day. Parking right outside the room and a pleasant pool for the evening made the hotel setup very convenient. We also appreciated the free ride to the airport on our last day. Atana Hotel deserves 4 stars!
