The beach is public and a long way from the hotel, so you need transport to get there. They do run a shuttle, which we appreciated. The hotel itself has been fully renovated and is generally comfortable. Housekeeping was a problem throughout our three days. We had no slippers in the room, and it wasn’t properly vacuumed or cleaned. When we arrived, there was fruit under the bed and a medicine box left by previous guests. We were also very disappointed by the restaurant food. The salads weren’t fresh, and the meat and chicken were very tough and poor quality. It didn’t feel up to a five-star standard. I think the chef should be changed and the hotel should focus more on Arabic food that reflects the country’s identity instead of Indian food. At dinner, even basic drinks like juice or soft drinks weren’t available. The hotel is comfortable, but housekeeping needs a lot of improvement, and the food quality needs to be taken more seriously to match a five-star rating.

The room was comfortable and the atmosphere was top-class. A special thank you to Amin and Said at reception, who were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their kind and efficient service gave the stay a personal touch. I had a truly excellent visit and would happily stay again. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and roomy, and the bed was comfortable, but don’t expect bathrobes, slippers, or bathroom amenities in this five-star place. We’d bought a King Deluxe Seaview Room and were given a King Deluxe AC View Room instead. There was constant jet engine noise day and night, and the hotel’s cooler units are within sight and hearing of nearly half the rooms. We asked each day about getting the room we had actually booked. They said their system labeled it a Seaview Room, so it was a “computer says no” situation, and turned us away each time because the hotel was supposedly full. In the end we agreed to two complimentary dinners, though the food was another disappointment. The buffet meals were bland and unappetising. This is basically an all-inclusive hotel for Eastern European packages, and there was also a “mandatory” New Year’s Eve dinner, which is a story for another time. There are decent food options in town, but it’s a good 15-minute drive. The alcohol was very expensive for the quality. Staff were generally friendly and did their best, but seemed overwhelmed much of the time, especially at the beach bar and restaurant. If you haven’t reserved a sunbed with a towel by 9am, you’re out of luck until sunset, even though many beds go unused most of the day. That seems more down to the clientele than the hotel. The grounds are also a stone’s throw from a huge cement factory complex and a gigantic container port, visible from every corner of the hotel day and night. Overall, it wasn’t worth the price.

We came with our family and found the hotel and its surroundings pleasant. The staff were always kind, smiling, and helpful, and our room stayed clean and tidy. Food was tasty and varied, and we’d give it 4.5 out of 5. We did miss having more choices specifically for children, though, and there was no children's corner, which could be a drawback for families with small kids. The beach is extremely long and pleasant, but it was in poor condition, damaged and not maintained. I understand that this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s a shame. With no animation program or children’s activities, I’d recommend the hotel more to older people looking for a quiet stay than to families with children. Thanks for a pleasant visit, and we wish you success.

Our sea-view room was beautiful, and the staff provided excellent, caring service. Alamgir kept it perfectly clean every day and surprised us with lovely towel figures, a personal touch that made our stay feel special. Abdallah at reception also deserves thanks. He dealt with my issue professionally and efficiently, and his warm, understanding manner made us feel welcome and at home. Hanna & Lucas
