Dora, her son, and her granddaughters were all welcoming when we met them. We had a comfortable stay at Hostal Creadora, and the little forest with a creek or small river behind the property was a lovely setting. It's close to a grocery store, with a plaza across the main road, and only a short drive from downtown. Our room was quite small, though, with little counter space and not many hooks or hangers. The shower had strong pressure. We also had an electricity outage for about an hour. Housekeeping opened our door without knocking at around 11:15 in the morning, even though checkout was noon.

Grocery stores are almost next door, and the value is great. It's a $1 per person cab ride into Boquete proper, and the place was reasonably quiet, though Panama always seems to have barking dogs. The people are really lovely. Our first room was upstairs, but after one night we moved downstairs because wind rattling on the metal roof was so loud. The rooms are small, but a well equipped kitchen and lounge areas help make up for it.

The owner was so sweet and wonderful. Rooms are quiet, comfortable, and have wifi. It's a quick drive into Boquete, and since the place isn't on a main road there's no outside noise. Very relaxed atmosphere. I recommend it!

The common sitting room has big windows, so you can watch birds up close, and there's a little stream right outside that turns into a raging current after a rainy season downpour. This hostel sits just off the road in a corner that feels like jungle, right in beautiful Boquete, Panama. It's no longer a bed and breakfast, it's a hostel, with a well equipped kitchen. There's a small store across the street and a bigger one closer to town. I will definitely come back to this wonderful place.

Dora was accommodating, but it felt like she was always trying to make money from every little thing, so her smile didn't seem genuine to us. Some of what she told us about room availability and places to go was misleading. She said our room wasn't available for the second night and pushed a more expensive one, although ours actually was available. She also tried to sell us a taxi tour to places reachable by public transport, claiming buses couldn't get there, which wasn't true. The hostel itself was in poor shape and unpleasant to stay in, and quite far from town. Our room was tiny, the walls were dirty, and there were holes in the walls and ceiling. Pots and pans were scratched, and the dishes and cups need replacing. We wouldn't return. There are better places in town for the same price.
