Bocas del Mar Hotel

Our new two-bedroom villa was spacious, modern and beautifully designed, just right for our family. When my son developed a fever, the team went out of their way to have medicine brought right to our room. Everyone was kind and helpful from check-in through checkout, and they all spoke English well, which helped my husband, who doesn’t speak Spanish. The restaurant was fantastic. The chicken curry was delicious, and our son devoured the burger from room service. We also went on two sunset boat rides on consecutive days, both arranged by the hotel and absolutely amazing. The entrance is lush, and our four-year-old was thrilled to spot the donkey as we drove in. We loved our stay at Bocas del Mar, and the service, food and views were all top-notch. My daughter and I had a lovely five-day visit. We saw the whales, visited beaches and enjoyed massages. The rooms were updated, roomy and beautifully decorated, and the views were gorgeous. It was peaceful, too. The staff were very nice, helpful and accommodating.

The rooms were spotless, really spacious and had great views. They felt Airbnb-style, with a full kitchen and a full-size refrigerator. We were pleasantly surprised by every part of our few-night stay at Bocas Del Mar. The open-air restaurant looks out over the sea, and the food was good without being overpriced. The staff were pleasant and consistently gave great service. We took the “Bocas Del Mar” boat with a captain and bilingual guide called “Giovani”. I may have his name wrong, but he knew a lot and gave very good service, as did the captain. I recommend the boat trip, and booking it before you arrive. We had a great time and will return for sure.

We spent two full days fishing and enjoyed the view from our bungalow. There are a couple of very nice, clean pools on site, and the restaurant rivals any high-end eatery back in the States. They cooked the fish we caught each day for dinner, with elegant presentation and phenomenal taste. The resort is amazing, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Chris made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
