Hotel Olas

I ended up extending my stay twice because I didn’t want to leave. It really felt like a little paradise, and I had an amazing time there. Andre was the star of the place, making sure I felt comfortable and had what I needed. You feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The view is incredible, and relaxing in the outdoor hammocks with the night breeze was perfect. The kitchen could use a bit of care, but it’s usable, with a fridge, pans, and an electric stove. There’s no microwave. The rooms are okay, though they get quite humid during the day. At night the A/C comes on and dries them out.

Andre made us feel at home and was always attentive, ready to help with anything. The tours were very well organized and made the visit even more special. We stayed at this hotel some time ago, and still remember it with admiration. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the cleanliness throughout really stood out. The sea view was stunning, and watching the sunsets there was a magical experience we won’t forget. We’re looking forward to returning this year for another stay in this beautiful, peaceful place.

I was traveling solo, and it was easy to meet friendly people to do things with. Everything is within walking distance, and the location is in a quieter end of town. The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve had in all my travels, and I loved swinging in the hammock with a sea view. Andre was really helpful with arranging boats and tours, which were the cheapest going around. Great value for money, and while people say you can’t buy happiness, you can buy a stay here. There’s a free kayak to use, and you can swim from the dock. Great vibes and views, too.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Olas, with beautiful sunset views, nice morning swims, and stingrays and big fish visible around the docks at night. The staff were kind and communicative, and Andres especially made us feel safe and welcome. He helped arrange local tours and even sorted out the next part of our trip within minutes, from the dock all the way to “Panama City”. It was a 14-hour trip by boat, taxi, and bus, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. Highly recommend.
