It's in a handy spot, right across from where most tours and water taxis depart, with good infrastructure nearby. Our room had several ceiling fans and A.C. in the bedroom, plus a good bathroom and kitchen. Some rooms have nice outdoor areas. Fresh spring water is available down the hall. Saturday brought a nearby DJ whose bass was a bit too loud, but otherwise it was quiet.

During our three-week trip through Costa Rica & Panama, Palma Royale was the first hotel we really didn't want to leave. We had a wonderful stay, with a fabulous, spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helped with all our questions.
