Oasis Bluff Beach

I've stayed here before and came back for three nights. The ride up from town is beautiful and well worth it. The restaurant is fabulous, and the staff are friendly and helpful. At night, listening to the waves was so peaceful. It has an authentic Caribbean vacation feel, with the conveniences of modern life. Highly recommend.

The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the property was very clean. Breakfast was included, delicious, and filling. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every dinner entree we tried, with a different menu each night. The Wave Room faced the water and had its own balcony with Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and a sofa, great for morning coffee or happy hour. Inside, there were double sinks and a roomy walk-in shower. Bluff Beach is pristine and uncrowded, and you can walk for miles. It’s a surfing beach, so swimming isn't ideal, but the pool worked well for us. We also saw a sloth on the property and lots of tropical birds. The full bar made happy hour even better.

We stopped at Oasis on our first day at Bluff beach, before checking in farther down the road, and returned a couple of times during our week there. The staff, including Alex, were cheerful and provided great service. The lunch we had that first day was excellent, and the cocktails were great too. It’s a nice spot to unwind after a day of activities. We got fascinated by the spongy grass, even before the cocktails, and noticed the ping pong and pool tables, but spent our time enjoying the downtime instead. Enjoy!

Bluff beach was amazing and hardly crowded, with monkeys and sloths around, and the hotel was very clean. The rooms were nice, the food was amazing, prices felt fair, and the place was well organized and secure. Staff were welcoming and available if we needed anything. They can help book activities or offer guidance, and taxis can be arranged for guests. Ask them for the taxi contact card. Repellent, umbrellas, and sunscreen were available at the hotel. It is a little out of the way. Some taxis in Bocas Town didn't want to drive to Bluff beach because the road wasn't paved, and water taxis don't reach it either. Some rooms are in the hotel lobby, which I wouldn't have liked. There’s no official reception, and the rooms could be a bit more attractive, for example with an improved garden and matching towels. We also definitely needed more hangers for drying clothes. Those drawbacks were minor and didn't affect our stay.
