The host was so welcoming, and the bed was comfortable. There’s plenty to do right at the property, with pools, a river waterfall, a bar and restaurant, and a communal area set up nicely for watching films. It was the best-priced hostal we found in all of Panama. I’ll definitely stay again.

Peter really makes the place feel welcoming. He cares about guests, shares local tips, and is great company over a beer in the evening. The hostel is also excellent value, with a waterfall a short walk away, two lovely pools, and a quiet stretch of creek to use when the waterfall gets busy. Its position between David and Boquete made getting to Bocas or the highlands easy for us. We’ll definitely return. A friendly, affordable place with lovely nature nearby.

A park-like spot with a natural waterfall and swimming hole, plus two separate Olympic-size pools. There’s covered seating, volleyball, a full restaurant and bar, and a hostel with shared rooms for 2 balboas. Lots of parking, and it’s easy to reach from the bus on Hwy 41.

The waterfall itself is beautiful, but there’s a lot of garbage around it. Everything is very cheap, which is the only real plus. The place is dirty, trash is scattered everywhere, and the pool is filthy and smells of urine. The toilets and showers are awful, and some doors don’t even close.

Peter was an excellent host. He showed us around when we arrived and was always up for a chat. There are two big pools and a waterfall, a lovely place to spend a hot evening or relax during the day. The dorms have comfortable beds and decent-sized rooms, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen. It’s easy to get to without a car since it’s right on the bus route between David and Boquete. What a find for a quiet, relaxing base to chill and explore the area. Highly recommend!
