Hotel Coronado Inn

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, tucked back from the Panamerican highway. The people were friendly, and the place was extremely clean. My room was spacious, comfortable, and clean too.

The staff we dealt with were all pleasant and hospitable, from the breakfast servers and cleaning crew to the front desk. Still, management seemed unwilling to address the hotel's many problems, which made the stay subpar despite the place's potential. Our team stayed at Coranado Inn for three nights. The location lost points because the hotel is attached to a casino, and there was a strong sewage smell by the road outside. Service and rooms also fell short: we never got hot water, despite being told we would, and when the power went out in our room, management initially said we couldn't move. After a lot of negotiation, they eventually let us change rooms.

Rosemary, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. We paid $10.00 per load for laundry, including washing, drying, and folding. The Panamericana Highway traffic was audible, but the reasonable rates made up for that. We got a good deal by booking through booking.com. The hotel isn't modern, but our room was clean and the service very good. It was a full suite with three beds, a small kitchen with a coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator, plus a dining table and a living area with a couch and chairs. There was also a nice balcony. A casino is beside the hotel, and grocery stores, restaurants, and other small businesses are nearby.

The manager was very kind and went out of her way to explain everything I needed to know and make sure I was happy. The bed was good and the pool was nice, but the noise is why I can only give three stars. Trucks on the road were constantly so loud that they came straight through my earplugs.
