Hotel Benidorm Panama

This was my first hotel in Panama City, and I was happy with the selection. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. It’s close to La Lotería station and a bus stop.

The location was perfect, the rooms were clean, and the people were nice ;)

Comfortable and very clean.

The area has a big supermarket and shopping center across the street, and the metro is only two blocks away. You can walk about half an hour to either Casco or El Cangrejo. Calidonia feels fine during the day, though it isn’t as gentrified as some other parts of the city and I’d be wary of walking around late at night. There isn’t much to do in the neighborhood after dark, so I usually figured I’d be coming back from elsewhere by taxi or Uber. For the price, the hotel was good. Everyone on staff was friendly, and the cleaners did a great job. My room was spotless whenever they made it up. The shower was also great, with hot water and strong pressure. A few things could be better: the sheets didn’t always fit, and Wi-Fi was patchy in some rooms, sometimes cutting out in the afternoon. Some rooms don’t have outside windows. When I found the connection didn’t reach my first room, the staff gladly moved me.
