I had a long layover in Panama and couldn't check in until 3 pm, but they let me leave my luggage there. The reception staff were very kind and ready to help, and the service was excellent.

The roaches were awful and unsanitary. I found them in every room, in the kitchen silverware, and in all three bathrooms across the three rooms where I stayed. At night they crawled down the wall by my head, and they walked around my toothbrush on the sink. There were big ones I couldn't get photos or videos of. You could find them on every floor, even though guests were told they could only eat on the ground floor. The decent location and smart TVs in the rooms didn't make up for it. I won't return. The place also felt unfriendly. House rules weren't written down, and staff yelled at you instead of explaining them politely. Nobody enforced quiet hours. Some long-term residents scared me by talking about their family's cartel or a lawyer they'd threatened to kill the day before. When breakfast was missing advertised items and I pointed it out, they ignored me. The front door was sometimes left open, and the keys barely worked. Even basic fixes weren't done, like oiling the door lock or sealing the holes around sinks where roaches got in and out. Instead, they made it the guest's problem by telling us not to eat food we'd paid for in our rooms. I stayed from mid to late December 2025. I asked where to get a yellow fever vaccine and was sent to a neighborhood my driver said wasn't safe even for locals, let alone tourists. When I tried to extend my stay, the manager said I'd paid more for the past days than I had, apparently to get me to pay more for the future days. I showed him electronic credit card records proving otherwise, and he suggested I must have paid more in cash. I told him that couldn't be right because I had no cash, hadn't used an ATM in the country, and only had foreign pesos. The stay wasn't enjoyable. I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The people were nice, and I have no complaints. It was a great deal, and I'll definitely be back.

The rooms felt really luxe, the people were super chill, and the location was great. It's an affordable place, too, with a pool and breakfast included. I'd recommend it!
