The hotel is within walking distance of Iglesia del Carmen metro station, a supermarket, fast food places, and some souvenir shops. There are lots of nearby hotels too, and the neighborhood seemed pretty safe. I spent three pleasant nights here. The room and hallways were clean and quiet, and though the decor is a little old school, the furniture was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable, and the AC and Wi-Fi worked well. The bathroom had a bidet spray and hairdryer. I would’ve liked a small fridge, a kettle, and bottled water. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor, though I didn’t try it. I’d recommend staying here if you visit Panama City.

The staff were friendly, the location was decent, the towels were fresh, and the beds comfortable. But there were cockroaches in some rooms. Some of the in-window AC units were really noisy, and there was a lot of racket from walkie-talkies and loud talking in the corridor. The white room lighting felt dull and depressing.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Milan for two weeks in October 2025. The staff were amazing, the Wi-Fi was exceptional, and the shower was nice and hot. The food at Hotel Milan was very good too. We could watch football on the TV, which had American channels, and there were some great movies. The area was easy for me to get around with my cane, and there’s tons nearby. The metro is around the corner. We had a regular room and paid $44.00 each morning in case we wanted to stay somewhere else. The mattress wasn’t comfortable for my condition. We’d stay again, but upgrade for a better mattress.

It was a comfortable stay at a cheap price, with a large, clean room. My only complaint is that I didn’t seem to have hot water at any point during my three nights.
