The pool and the views were huge hits with both the adults and kids. The building is gorgeous, the foyer feels fancy, and the staff are kind and helpful, though their English sometimes isn’t easy to follow. The apartment worked well as a base for downtown, once you get through the city itself. We’d checked the day before and again the morning of arrival about getting in around 1-2 pm. Veronica said it would be fine, but when we arrived at 1:20 with our bags, reception said cleaning was still underway and we’d have to wait until 3. Not the end of the world, but losing an hour and a half after planning ahead was frustrating. There’s plenty of space on the large balconies, but no chairs or other furniture at all. One could host a family reunion or small wedding, and a patio set plus a gas BBQ, if the condo board allows one, would make a big difference. The kids’ room is tiny for two children sharing a double bed, with hardly any space to move. Its AC didn’t blow cold, so it felt like a tropical sauna, and we had to keep the door open. The laundry room is right across the hall too, which made naps tricky. The shower was a whole ordeal. Hot water started out fine, then vanished just as I had shampoo in my hair. I was fumbling for the tap with soap in my eyes while freezing water hit me. Then the hot water suddenly came back, scalding my front or backside depending on how I stood. At the master bathroom sink, the faucet actually came off when I turned it on and sprayed water at me. Luckily, there’s a second sink that still works. The kitchen lacked enough pots and pans, proper cutlery, spatulas, plates, and cups, so cooking meant improvising. Outside traffic also kept us awake, with hours of noise to plan the next day around, even at 2:47 a.m. Still, it’s a beautiful building with a great location, amazing pool, and incredible views. We’d stay again, and come prepared for the quirks.

Nice view and a good building in a convenient spot. You can’t really walk out to places, though, so you’ll need Uber. Buying here might be a good option too, but the hype makes it expensive, so be careful not to get taken advantage of.

The pool is nice, and the neighborhood offers lovely views across downtown.
