Hotel Pacific Pearl

We found a peaceful getaway here during all the sun and fun of Pedasi carnival. The owners and staff paid close attention to us and were extremely pleasant. The hotel is palatial, with lovely scenery and a calm feel. We were the couple from #12 during carnival 2024, and we’ll see you next year!

The barbecue short ribs were on another level, and the fried beef with peppers and spring rolls were great too. This was a huge surprise, easily the best restaurant within 100km and one of the best in all of Panama. The food is authentic Chinese. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

We arrived late at night, and the restaurant stayed open for us after we called ahead. The Cantonese cooking was the best I’ve ever had, with incredible care in every detail. Our $61.00 meal was so exquisite that I gladly left a $40.00 tip. The value is exceptional, and the food alone was beyond anything I expected in such a remote destination, even surpassing the level of Ritz Carlton or Hyatt Regency. The construction impressed me just as much. Whoever built the place is a master of all trades. Every part showed unreal attention to detail, from the beautiful ornate kitchen to the expertly laid 30"x 30" marble tile floors, which must have cost a fortune. Hotel service was impeccable too. I couldn’t find fault with the property or staff. It was a privilege to stay here. I’ll be back and will tell plenty of people about this jewel of Pedasi.

It was brand new, very clean, and had Wi-Fi that was good enough for work. The staff were friendly too. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a clean place to stay.
