Pedasi Nature Paradise

The tour they arranged for us to Iguana Island was amazing, with clear warm water, beaches, iguanas, hermit crabs, and wild birds. The hotel itself has clean rooms and friendly staff, and it’s an easy walk to downtown Pedasí. I’m really glad we stayed here and would highly recommend it.

We paid full price for three days in a room that was nowhere near ready. It had no furniture inside or on the patio, paint spots on the floor, and a strong oil paint smell. Water had gotten under the bathroom laminate, so we had to wear shoes and put a towel by the toilet to keep our clothes dry. The shower drain was clogged too. The pool speakers were closer to our room than to the pool, with noise from 10-8 every day. On Sunday, karaoke went until 11:20 pm and was even louder. When I reviewed the hotel on booking.com, the manager said they knew the room wasn’t ready and had many deficiencies. They hadn’t told us before we arrived or offered a refund or lower rate. We got neither. The free two-day stay he later offered is meaningless since we’ve already left Panama. We feel completely ripped off and should get at least a partial refund for a stay that was far from enjoyable.

The apartment was spacious, clean, modern, and close to everything in town. I booked four weeks and Maria, the housekeeper who was on site each day, made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. She also checked on us now and then. The owner happened to arrive for a week during our stay and was very gracious. Highly recommend.

Really nice place, with a clean, new feel, a lovely pool and backyard, and a great range of beer, wine, and champagne. The service was exceptional. Thanks 😁
