The pool was clean, and breakfast was included and good quality. That helped after a poor night's sleep in the hot room. The air conditioning barely worked, though luckily it wasn’t very hot outside. The room itself was very basic, and the bathroom doorknob broke right away, but they fixed it promptly. There weren’t any convenient places to plug in and set down devices, so we had to leave things charging under the bed, between it and the wall. Still, it’s a decent place to stay a night or two while visiting Pedasí, close to the town center and beach access.

A clean, pleasant place with a nice breakfast. The staff were hardworking, helpful, and friendly, and the pool was kept clean and in good shape. It works well for a stopover or a longer stay if you have business in Pedasi. I’d come back.

The rooms don’t have much furniture, but they’re very clean and air-conditioned. Staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, and the location makes it easy to walk into town for food, groceries, or anything else you need. This is a perfect fit for people willing and able to adapt, though many Americans might not find it suitable.

I was delighted with my six weeks at the Sport Club, staying in the one-bedroom apartment, which worked well for two or three people. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 every morning, with a varied menu. The staff are pleasant and hardworking, the pool is immaculate, and there’s a terrific shared kitchen for room guests. The property is spacious and has lots of fruit trees. Not every little thing went perfectly, but when I told management about problems they might not have known about, they fixed them right away. Power cuts affect the whole town, rather than being a hotel issue. They even have a generator to keep the water running during outages. The internet was very reliable. A colleague was able to teach her online class twice a week. It’s pet-friendly and kid-friendly. The pool can get a little noisy on weekend nights, though guests who want to stay up and enjoy that can. Over six weeks, I saw a little of everything and would highly recommend the place. Yessy, the manager, is excellent and easy to reach. I couldn’t ask for much more.
