This old-school hotel works well for a night or a few in downtown David or near the bus station. Our room was large and lovely, and the inside rooms are quieter. The AC was cold, the wifi was weak but usable, and the location right at the plaza is outstanding. There's a shared balcony overlooking it, too. Service was better than at some four-star hotels. After reading some reviews, you'd think you were walking into a mine pit, but our experience was quite the opposite. More hotels like this should exist.

It didn't look anything like the pictures, just so you know. The price was fair, and checkout isn't until 1 pm. There's a TV and a clean, new mattress. It wasn't my favorite, though, and I probably won't stay again.

The reception staff were very nice, and there's a fonda downstairs beside the hotel where you can get coffee and a good meal. We really enjoyed our stay. It's a clean, affordable hotel by the central park, with lovely park views from the large shared balconies. The area felt safe at night, and there are plenty of budget shops nearby if you need a change of clothes :)

A safe, clean budget place with nothing fancy. The shower worked, even though it had no shower head. It's great for a short stay on a budget, but I wouldn't stay more than a couple of days.

We felt very safe here, with lots of people walking around outside and vendors selling fruit nearby. The hotel is right across from the park, which is nice to walk around.
