It's a charming little hotel with only about 10 rooms. There was just one other room occupied, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The restaurant food was pretty good and fairly priced: steak for 9.5, a quarter chicken with one side for 7.5, and good quality seafood in the seafood pasta for $12.50. I especially liked the rapid next to the hotel, it was pretty cool. My package included a horse ride up a small hill. We skipped the kayak in the pond. The shower water was barely warm, and the internet sometimes went out, though that's understandable in a rural area. I was there after much covered labour protests in the province, which might explain why business was slow.

A lovely location in the woods with plenty of nature and fresh air. The restaurant served wonderful food, and our room was good with hot water in the shower. Wi-Fi was spotty at best, but our mobile reception was good. The location was good too.

We booked Junior Suite 1 for three days, but sadly won't be back. A wedding on the first night meant noise all night. The TV didn't work when we arrived, Wi-Fi was slow and sometimes cut out, and the mattresses were really hard. There were ants on the sink, and staff said that "usually happens." There was no mosquito screen, so we had to sleep with the windows open, and they usually slammed at night. We could hear our neighbor through the walls. The keys didn't work either. Staff suggested inserting the key slightly, but that didn't fix it. I don't know what happened to Casa Grande Bambito. Maybe it was the staff, but the attention felt like the bare minimum.

The kids would love the park, where you can ride horses, take the Zipline, or go on a short boat trip for a cost. We went as a family for coffee and ice creams, and staff let us use the property and facilities at no charge. It's a beautiful, well kept place, and the personnel were very helpful and attentive.

We only went to the restaurant, not the hotel. The view was amazing and the food decent, but service was pretty bad. If you're not in a hurry, you can wait and enjoy the beautiful view.
