Triboo Hostel

We weren't sure what to expect, but this cozy hostel, furnished with so much care, was a lovely surprise. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the place makes a great base for exploring the beautiful beaches, forest, and well-marked trails to a waterfall and lagoon. We were even lucky enough to spot baby turtles. What a stay!

I felt calm as soon as I arrived. There's a lovely sound to the waves, with chickens wandering around, cats, and sometimes even crabs. The beach and jungle are close, as are plenty of other things. It's a great place to surf or take a break from noisy life, and on a clear day you can watch an amazing sunset from a hammock. You can cook for yourself or have the guys cook for you at a fair price. Bring anything beyond the basics from a supermarket in the next town. The bus between Santiago and Torio runs every hour, so getting there is easy. A friend called it a little paradise, and I can see why. Muchas gracias chicos 🙂🙏

A nice place to relax, unwind, or get some work done. The internet is stable and works well. It can be a little hard to find at first, so ask the manager and he'll come over to point you in the right direction. Bring your own food and supplies since it's a hostel. Just ask if you have questions.
