We didn't stay in a room at Casa Fofo, but when every place nearby was booked and we had nowhere to sleep, the owner went out of her way to help us. Her generosity and genuine warmth made a lasting impression, and we're very grateful. The property is peaceful and beautiful, with a lovely pool and a spacious outdoor area. You can walk to both the beach and town. The people are what really make Casa Fofo special, and we'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting San Carlos.

Joelle and her family were so friendly, and the location was great. We stopped for one night on the way to Coiba and wished we could've spent longer enjoying the property and its amenities. We could walk to breakfast by the water. A very pleasant stay!

The pool was beautiful and the property well maintained. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped and a nice place to meet other travelers. We bought two soles at the port for $2 and cooked them that evening. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, and I also had a professional massage from the host that relieved my lower back pain. A big thank you! Don't hesitate to take the opportunity to get one while you're there. A superb stay.
