Casa Maya

They helped me with my laundry, which I really appreciated, and I’d stay here again next time. The little houses are in a great location. The kitchen is only minimally equipped, but it’s fine for breakfast. There’s a staircase inside to watch out for, and the shower was difficult to turn off, so it dripped constantly.

Casa Maya is comfortable, decent, and well equipped. Paola is really nice and available. It’s very close to the punta and the best sunset spot, and feels like an authentic Sta Catalina experience.

When we were about to leave, they checked in with us and shared the bus schedule. They also offered to take us to the city center, but we said we were fine since we only had backpacks. The next day, it suddenly started raining heavily, and we thought there was no way we’d make the bus. Without us even asking, the owner drove up to our house and gave us a ride, knowing we needed that bus. We’re so grateful. The guest service was absolutely amazing! The rooms look just like the pictures, are very well kept and super clean, and the kitchen has good equipment, salt, pepper, and coffee. The owner was friendly and helpful. We asked about laundry and got it back within a few hours for a very fair price. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Maya and highly recommend it.

Casa Maya has everything you need, and everything works. The bed is comfy, the place is very clean, and Paola is an excellent host. It’s central but still a little out of the way. I really loved it.
