The hotel is clean, but the lack of soundproofing makes it very noisy. Staff and their children were loud until 11:30 p.m., then the noise started again from 5 a.m. I don't understand why hotel staff in countries like this can't make an effort to be quiet instead of shouting.

A backpack was safely stored here while we went to Machu Picchu, and the room Wi-Fi was adequate, though it could be better. The sports field right outside can make things noisy for a while. The location is handy for both the train station and bus stop, which is about a ten-minute walk away. It worked perfectly for an overnight stay before an early bus, with breakfast available from 5 a.m. The room was clean, the upholstery and bed were very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. There were a few English-language TV channels. Most of the staff spoke English and were very helpful, and breakfast was very good.
