We had to leave for Machu Picchu at 6 am, and the staff kindly arranged an early boxed breakfast for us. They were professional and very accommodating. The rooms were extremely comfortable, with hot showers, and breakfast was included. We’ll definitely recommend this place.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was enough, though not especially generous. The mango was great. Our room was on the small side and a little musty, but leaving the bathroom fan running all the time helped. Not bad.

You can walk to everything from this good location, but the noise was the biggest problem. We could hear the neighbors, construction, and plenty more. Breakfast had few choices and especially little for vegans. There was no toilet paper in our room, and the decor wasn’t great either.

The service is why I can’t give this place better value for money. The first time, there was only cold water. Reception fixed it after I reported it, but reviews say this has happened many times, and it should never happen. I’d give service only two stars. The staff were nice, cleaned the room every day, and even arranged to pick me up at the train station. I had the luxury Room 403 to myself. It had a spacious enough wardrobe and an excellent mattress for me, firm but not too hard. The insulated windows kept the room very quiet, and the street was quiet too, with no outside noise, not even from the trains. Breakfast was okay: fresh juices, milk, cereal, bread, pancakes, olives, cheese, ham, sweet spreads, four kinds of fruit, tea and coffee, scrambled eggs, and avocado.

I sprained my ankle, and the staff were really kind and attentive. They went above and beyond, arranging a room on a lower floor and bringing water up to me. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was good.
