You’ll meet young travelers from all over the world here, and there’s something happening most nights. It’s a lively spot for going out, though it may not suit you if you’re after somewhere quiet and spotless.

I came to the bar with friends and had a brilliant time. We met loads of people, and I’m still in touch with some of them. Left with plenty of good stories, too. Highly recommend it.

A lively spot if partying is what you’re after. The bar has reasonably priced drinks and decent food. On weekends, they hand out free wristbands for a local party at 2 a.m., which is a nice extra.

The location is really good, and it’s clearly a party hostel with a bar. At night, smoke from the bar’s party reaches the reception. My bed smelled bad when I arrived; when I reported it, the receptionist said I could switch beds, but nobody came to check it. The lockers didn’t feel very secure either.

My friend had money and a passport stolen from one of the hostel’s “lockers.” The hostel offered a free beer and meal as compensation, which my friend understandably didn’t consider enough. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.
