Clean rooms, a nice place, and friendly, helpful staff. They’ll also pack breakfast to go when you need it for the Machu Picchu trek.

The breakfast is enough to keep you going on the trails, and it’s a good place to rest after visiting Machu Picchu if you’re only staying a short time. There’s no elevator in the building, which can be unpleasant after arriving by train. For tourists traveling with small backpacks, that may not be a problem. The bedding is lovely, perhaps from the previous owner.

Mr. Juan Carlos was kind and attentive. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the location was very good. Breakfast was very simple, with few options.
