Varayoc Bed & Breakfast

The room smelled bad and wasn’t clean. We also booked transport from hidroelectrica to cusco through the hostel, then waited an hour and a half, but nobody came and they didn’t have my name. We had to pay more for another bus to cusco. I messaged him to ask for an explanation, but he ignored me for two days. The location is good, and you can get an early breakfast before going to Machupicchu.

The beds were okay, and the shower got very hot. The rooms had no windows and were loud, with every sound from outside coming through. There was no view, and the bathroom window was dirty. Breakfast was just jam, and I found a hair from the older breakfast lady in my pineapple juice.

The worst place we stayed in Peru. Both rooms had mold and no windows, and the toilets were broken. The staff were annoying and unwilling to compromise. Avoid it at all costs.

You can get to the train station, bus stop for macchu Picchu, and the street full of shops and restaurants easily from here. The staff are friendly, though they only speak Spanish. Really handy location.
