Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, and the city center is an easy walk away. This stylish hotel has pretty rooms opening onto an interior courtyard. The stonework holds warmth through the night, too.

Breakfast was excellent, made fresh to order, and they even put together a bag for our very early checkout. We also really liked the in-house restaurant, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The courtyard and patio were so cute that my partner used them for a photoshoot. Our rustic, artisan-style room was tidy and comfortable, with a nicely updated bathroom. There was a slight old-building smell, though that may be common in hotels there. For the affordable price, we were very pleased with our Arequipa stay. The location felt safe and Plaza Des Armas was under a 10-minute walk away.

The breakfast was delicious, served on a terrace with lovely views over the city and surrounding mountains, and the staff were very friendly. It’s a beautiful old building that’s been renovated well and has modern amenities. The hotel is a little away from the usual path in Arequipa. The main square is reachable on foot, though it’s far enough that the location isn’t quite ideal. Aside from that, it’s a great hotel.

The staff have been the most helpful we’ve encountered on our travels, especially Juan, who did everything he could when we arrived with upset stomachs. They speak English very well, which was a relief. We’re staying here now and are really glad we chose it. The building uses the same materials as the beautiful main square and fits its style, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk away. Our room has a huge, comfortable bed and the shower has worked perfectly. Breakfast is the best we’ve had in Peru so far. Highly recommended.
