At 77 soles a night, the top-floor room was a decent deal: bathroom, twin-size bed, cable TV, fridge, and microwave. Plaza de Armas is nearby, with some good restaurants about 5 minutes away. 8/10.

I spent a couple of days here, and the room had a strange smell. Some rooms had no hot water at all, and the Wi-Fi was useless on the 3rd floor. I mentioned that and nothing changed, so I had to go down to the 2nd floor to get a connection. What bothered me most was the staff: they always looked miserable, especially the receptionist, who had no manners. It felt like they didn’t want guests around.
