Fabiola made me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay at Okao house. She checked in each day to ask how I was and what I had planned. Her breakfast was delicious, and the laundry service was great. My room was clean and spacious, and the private bathroom worked well. I stayed for 4 or 5 days, and this was one of the highlights of my trip to Peru. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Arequipa.
Fabiola can share lots of information about what to do and where to go, and can help arrange tours around Arequipa. She and her family are excellent hosts, and it’s great value. My room was large, clean and comfortable, with nice attention to detail. There was a hot shower, and towels, soap and TP were provided. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen available. Highly recommended.
Fabiola is so caring, and the hostel feels more like a homestay. The beds are comfortable, laundry is available, and breakfast is nice on the roof terrace. It’s a quiet place, about a five-minute walk from the center.
Fabiola, the lovely host, is the best part of this guesthouse. She’ll chat with you, offer advice and help out. Akao house is just outside the center of Arequipa, with a hot shower, kitchen, communal area and breakfast. 5 ☆ ! Niels
Fabiola, the owner, was the best part of the stay. She has a lovely smile and helped me with everything I needed, which I really appreciated. The location is near the center, the room is clean and has what you need, and breakfast was very nice too.
