Casona Plaza Colonial AQP

We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice. It’s central but still quiet, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. We’ll miss the breakfast buffet. The one drawback was our windowless room, and the bathroom had no fan, which is needed to keep steam and odors from building up.

I’d definitely come back. The place was clean and simple, with thoughtful, attentive staff and a complimentary breakfast that was surprisingly good. It’s close to the plaza and San Camilo market, among other spots. One thing to keep in mind: the open layout makes hallway sounds echo, especially early in the morning.

The location was good, and I loved the buffet breakfast. The staff were very nice, and the beds have curtains and power sockets. In the morning, though, the cleaning lady was noisy, chatting with other staff instead of cleaning.

We liked the heater in our room and the bathroom, where the hot shower never ran out. The room cleaning service was more than excellent, and the staff were kind and professional. It’s a very clean, comfortable hotel just a few blocks from the Plaza de armas. We decided to add two more nights.
