The bathroom was renovated and very nice, and the location felt safe and comfortable in an old neighborhood. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the main square. The rooms are quite small, with no windows except onto the hallway. The wooden floor was polished enough to be really slippery.

Our room was kept clean and tidy, and the service was great. The staff were helpful and supportive, and breakfast was delicious. The main downside was how warm the room got. Its window faced the inside courtyard, and there was no outside-facing window. A fan helped a bit. We could also hear some street and hallway noise, probably because it’s an older building, though it was barely noticeable.

Great price and an amazing hotel. Definitely coming back.

We had a front room with a balcony, and it was very noisy at night. To be fair, they told us when we checked in and offered a quieter room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and breakfast with a view was superb. Great little hotel.

10/10
The room was spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, and the hotel felt tranquil and luxurious throughout. Staff made me feel like their most important guest, with a warm welcome and thoughtful personal touches. They also let me check in early at no extra charge, which helped a lot after my journey, and prepared a breakfast package for my departure day. My stay at Hotel Fundador was unforgettable and went beyond what I expected. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly top-notch stay.
