The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our lovely hosts even welcomed us with a cup of tea.

I can only give five stars, but it deserves six. The rooms and location are basic, yet the guesthouse feels like a home away from home. Chamo and Anita did so much to welcome us to Peru and were flexible about our schedule. Highly recommend if you want something beyond a boring hotel.

La Casa de Chamo was a great place to stay. The room was really comfy, and the hosts were kind and helpful. It's not far from the bus station or the main city, and there's a kitchen you can use if needed. We recommend it 100%. If you're traveling to Arequipa, don't hesitate to stop here. Gracias! 🙏🏼☺️

The outdoor space is huge and perfect for rest days, and the casa is always super clean. We’re bicycle tourers and have stayed here three times. Anita and Chamo feel like family and are always attentive to what we need. The atmosphere is relaxed and seems to draw humble travelers. It's just beyond the busy area, but still walking distance to food, markets, and downtown. This is our favorite hostel experience, and five stars all around for the price. Thank you, Anita and Chamo! We love you and missed seeing you this time.
