We were cold in August, with only very thin covers on the beds, and had to wait two hours for a hot shower. Under the bed was dusty and dirty. We decided to leave because a relative wanted to host us, then came back for our things and asked for at least half our money back since we'd be sleeping elsewhere. They refused. I hope I never have to return.

The toilet wouldn't flush, and the shower was nearly cold. The beds were very low quality, hard and covered in synthetic material. The ceiling was coming apart, and the curtains let light through with no blackout lining. I'd only go back if there were no other choices. Save yourself the trouble.

The service was helpful, and it was peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location is good, about three blocks from Praça das Armas. There's no parking. The main problem is the cold shower, which really undermines the other good qualities, especially with how cold the city gets.

A sad experience. There's no security, and if you leave something behind, they make a fuss and don't give you a receipt. They promise to provide one, ask for your information after you've left, and say they'll send it, but then nothing happens. I hope that doesn't happen to you.
