The location is the only thing I’d praise. This isn’t among Arequipa’s cheapest hotels, but the bathroom smelled of sewer and the Wi-Fi was slow. The fridge in our room didn’t work, and neither did the one we tried in another room. Breakfast was disappointing: the first day we each got just one egg and juice, and they had no milk. When we asked for three extra pieces of bread, they gave us only two because it was numbered. At the second breakfast, they took two of the four butters away when only two of us were at the table. There were three of us staying for two nights.

The room was very basic, but the great price and location made up for that. It’s a very small hotel, so nights are quiet.

It had everything I needed, and both the room and bathroom were clean and great. Bring warm clothes, though, because mornings and evenings are cold.
