The room was cramped, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and street noise came in through a small window. After around 30 minutes I asked for a refund because I wasn't comfortable and was upset that I'd been charged extra for a downgrade. For the same 120 soles, I found a bigger, nicer room in the town center with steady Wi-Fi. I'd booked a queen room with a balcony on booking, but was told on arrival that the balcony wasn't available and was given a different room. On top of that, they charged me $10 USD (30 soles) more than the agreed reservation price. If the room size, amenities, and price were represented honestly, it might be an okay budget place.

The accommodation itself was good, and by Peruvian standards it was very clean and comfortable. But the staff were unfriendly and tried to scam us, asking for 25% more than the amount agreed on Booking.com. We refused to pay it. We'd also paid on Booking.com for early check-in, but they wouldn't let us into the room unless we paid another fee.

The staff were super friendly, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. My room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was good. I felt lucky to find this place at such a great price for what you get. I'd come back if I get the chance!

My partner and I work online, and the Wi-Fi was great with no issues. We also had reliable hot water, and the room was super comfortable and seemed newly furnished. The staff were extremely friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location was very good. We planned three nights but extended our stay to five. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again if I'm back in Arequipa!
