Be careful. When I tried to sort out a problem with the owner, whose mistake it was, he wouldn't accept responsibility and started making threats. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The rooms are comfortable and kept clean, and the place itself is tidy. There’s free Wi-Fi, card payments are accepted, and reception has a small counter stocked with snacks and other items. You can also arrange city tours or trips to Colca Canyon there. The neighborhood has plenty of shops and things you need during the day, though it can feel somewhat dangerous at night. The Plaza de Armas in the Historic Center is walkable, or a taxi costs 5 soles. Service was good.

There are both group and private rooms, with two kinds of private rooms, some older than others. Hot water comes and goes, and the rooms have cable TV. A nearby market keeps the area lively. Prices are lower than those around the square.

I stayed six nights. The place was quiet, and the water problems were few and got sorted out. Service was good, though the Wi-Fi needs improvement.
