The best part of our two-day stay was the birthday surprise: the hotel gave me a little cake decorated with my name. I was so touched and happy. It's a small, comfortable place, everything was very nice, and the location was good too. Thank you to the wonderful people there. I'd come back if I get another chance.

The hotel bar and restaurant were great, with good food and friendly people. The staff worked hard to make our stay enjoyable and were extremely helpful. There were a few minor maintenance issues in some rooms, but it looks like most have been remodeled and they may do the rest soon. My room was beautiful, with a loft reached by a spiral staircase. The interior courtyard is lovely, too. Keep an eye out for the resident tortoise by the pool or in the courtyard. He moves slowly, but somehow gets all over the place!

The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly, but the family room was far too expensive for what we got at 370 soles a night. It was carpeted and poorly maintained, with mold in the bathroom and lots of noise from the neighboring rooms. The swimming pool seems more decorative than usable, with no pool chairs, and it wasn't always clean.

The garden is lovely, and the rooms are in cottages. It's a nice, cozy hotel with lovely staff and service. Breakfast was average, and the bathroom needs renovating. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't judge it, though the menu looked good.

Really good breakfast, and the bathroom was spacious.
