The hotel has a special charm, almost like being inside a book or movie, and it's easy to feel at home. It's near the city center on a quieter street. The staff were so helpful and polite, always smiling and ready to assist with things like laundry, finding a post office, or locating legal money exchange points. They even put together a takeaway breakfast for our trip to Colca Canyon. After our long journey from Ica, we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. There was warm water, a hair dryer, and a nice breakfast. I've never felt so well looked after at a hotel. The attention to guests' needs and the service were outstanding, and I could easily imagine staying longer.

I arrived in the middle of the night because my bus was delayed, and they welcomed me straight away with a room. They took care of the paperwork quickly the next morning, and left water in the room when they saw how tired I was after the long trip. Ursula & Herman were wonderful. They helped me arrange tours and made me feel at home and cared for. My room had a cozy bed, good light, and a beautifully spacious bathroom. Breakfast was buffet-style with plenty of options. The location is convenient and well connected, about a 10-minute walk from the center of Arequipa.

Paco and his wife were incredibly kind to us, as were the day crew and night staff. When the bus website wasn't working, Paco's wife walked us through ways to get to Nazca by bus and arranged a taxi to the terminal so we could buy tickets. They also suggested some great places to eat and visit. The room was clean and quiet, and we could walk to the Historical Town Center. It's excellent value, and we can't say enough about how well they treated us.

The service and cleanliness were what mattered most to us, and both were great. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the place gets a high five from us. There’s secured parking and 24-hour access if you’re driving. Downtown is only five blocks away. My wife and I were visiting Arequipa from the USA and found this gem at the last minute, after leaving a run-down hotel. The property used to be a family home, built by a Spaniard in 1936 who married a local woman. It looked dated when we checked in late at night, but in the morning we could appreciate how beautiful it was. The rooms are plain and basic, but you still get modern hotel amenities, including hot water, good wifi, and a wonderful breakfast. I don't usually give five stars, but if you appreciate the craftsmanship of old homes, this is the place for you.
