The staff at hostal don Cristobal were so kind and quick to lend a hand. We had a clean, spacious room with a balcony, and the rooftop kitchen was great for making our own food while taking in the view. Amazing hostel, thank you!
The family who seemed to run the place were genuinely kind, courteous, and efficient, and the premises felt secure. It was a few minutes' walk from a plaza with lots of cheap places to eat, where 9sol got you a large main, starter, and juice. The hostal was well priced too, and our clean room had a wardrobe with hangars, hot water with excellent pressure, a towel, and courtesy soap. Breakfast was included, with bread tools, butter, jam, papaya juice, tea, and a choice of egg or avocado. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the airport and just a few minutes to reach several bus terminals serving arrivals from Cusco. Absolutely exceptional all round. This is the place to stay.
There are shops and restaurants nearby, and the airport is close. The rooms are big, clean, and a great price, the staff are helpful, and there's an amazing view from the rooftop. Check the photos.
