A friendly little BnB, really nice!

Villa Betty is in a residential neighborhood, so it felt quiet and safe, a welcome break from the busy, noisy area around the main square. It’s a bit of a ride away, but taxis are affordable at 7-8 soles. The hosts were very welcoming, and breakfast was included in the reservation, which surprised me because the booking seemed inexpensive. I’ll definitely come back.

The rooms have plenty of space and the beds are quite comfortable. The staff are friendly and make you feel at ease. A very good place to stay.

If you want somewhere peaceful and relaxed, this is a good choice. You get a cup of warm mate tea when you arrive, and I was welcomed kindly and able to rest well. They also granted most of my requests. The house is beautiful, and the price speaks for itself. It is a little far from the city center, so I’m not sure it quite merits five stars, but Cusco taxis aren’t expensive and the neighborhood is quiet. I first came in 2017 and kept saying I’d write a review, but somehow it was already 2019, haha. The owner was fantastico and amable, cordial, kind, and warm-hearted. I still remember it fondly. You could stay at a hostel around armas plaza with a rooftop, which is surely fantastic, but this is the one for tranquilo, peaceful surroundings. Wishing you a safe trip to Machu Picchu!
