Hotel Terrazas

The service was good, and the place is new and clean. There's private parking if you're coming by car. Some rooms also look out toward the airport.

Getting to the main square takes about 10 minutes by taxi, and the airport is 8 minutes away. My family and I used three rooms, but the service was awful for what they charge. There's no system for room reservations, the Wi-Fi gets switched off at night, and nobody opens the door if you arrive late. We only stayed because of an emergency. We wouldn't go back otherwise. A disaster.

My mother and I enjoyed our stay here. It's cozy, close to the airport, and about 10 minutes from the main square. During Holy Week, when I was there, they brought us a delicious breakfast in the room. We were cold, so I asked for an extra blanket; they brought fleece blankets, and I slept much better. The service was good.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and Wi-Fi worked well throughout the hotel. Parking is free in a garage at the neighbor's house. The rooms were clean and sparsely furnished, with okay beds and hot water in the shower, but no hairdryer. Nearby bars and restaurants are scarce. A taxi to Plaza de Armas, where there's plenty available, costs just 5 soles, but take a taxi rather than a tuk-tuk or colectivo. The main road location is convenient for traffic access, though it's noisy with heavy traffic and constant honking from idiotic drivers.
