I liked the clean, pleasant place, the good food, the range of services, the friendly staff, and the price. The building and parking area are messy, though. There are lots of stairs to rooms on the second or third floor, and getting the car in or out can mean moving it several times on a busy street. Still, it's a decent place to stay. I'd probably come back another time. I could use the exercise :D

The breakfast staff were friendly, and there was a good choice of food. Eric at the front desk was helpful and patiently answered my questions. The room light kept flickering, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable, with periods when there was no internet.

The common spaces have a lot of charm, and the rooms are lovely. Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent.

The best part was the service. The receptionist even let us use a space to work on some repairs to our motorcycle. The hotel itself was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a great location.

The room design, service, cleanliness, and general atmosphere were quite good, so the hotel was acceptable in some ways. But the bathroom had nowhere to set soap or shampoo, and the sink and shower taps were rusty or had parts missing. My room's light switch cover was incomplete. Hot water took a long time or never came, and in both rooms we had, bathroom air was vented into either the bedroom or hallway. The entrance was often locked, and sometimes nobody was at reception when we returned from sightseeing, so we had to wait.
