The room and bathroom were both roomy, and the place feels new and modern. Since it’s a small town, the location is naturally convenient. There’s a note explaining that the solar-powered hot water takes a little time to come through. We were glad to have the heating and extra blankets on chilly nights, and breakfast was simple but enough. The front door locks behind you, so you have to buzz to get back in. One night I waited a while for someone to let me in, and they seemed a bit grumpy about it, lol.

Ivan, the administrator, was so gentle and kind. I loved how cozy the hotel felt, and my room was a nice size with blankets and a heater ready. I’d definitely come back.

Breakfast was included, with eggs, rolls, ham, cheese, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. The hotel is very clean and updated, though the rooms are small. In winter or early spring they can still feel cold at night, even with the space heater they provided. The shower also took a while to get hot, and the wifi only worked in the lobby. Still, I really liked my stay.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. When we asked about the missing hot water, they laughed and made excuses, even though it was -1 degrees outside. For three days there was no hot water in the shower, so someone in our group who got sick from what was served as breakfast had to use the hot springs to shower, paying 15 soles per person each day. There was no refund, and we also had to pay for towels one day. Worst place in the world.
